The Bridge to Hope would like to thank you for your interest in volunteer opportunities. Volunteers gain insight into domestic violence/sexual assault, assist clients, and provide support for staff. A comprehensive training program teaches each volunteer the policies and procedures of the Bridge and how to effectively advocate for our clients.
Volunteers are currently needed in the following areas:
- Childcare (flexibility is a must for these volunteers)
- Plowing and snow shoveling; Lawn and garden upkeep
- Court Watch
- Office and shelter maintenance
- Client transportation (Must have current insurance and valid driver’s license)
- Assisting advocates with presentations to promote awareness of domestic violence and sexual assault
- Additional opportunities available upon request
